If you have the skill to write an excellent tutorial to produce a unique and impressive graphics, then we’d like to hear from you. We pay US$100 per tutorial + One year Membership for accepted exclusive stuff! For non-exclusive tutorials, making of's, etc we provide some privileges on 3DM3. Find out more info below.

Before you make contact with us, read this

• It is entirely up to the editor to select articles (tutorials, making of, interviews, video tutorials, etc..) for publication. We offer an article pitch form in case you want to test out an idea. Otherwise your article must be finished when submitting.
• Your tutorial must be your original work and not published elsewhere online.
• You will need to format your tutorial as per the format described below.
• Your tutorial may be edited prior to publishing.

If your article is accepted

• You are transferring all your copyrights to 3DM3 to be the exclusive publisher of it online and to grant or sell to other sites permission to publish it (except your own website). You may also republish the tutorial offline in any way you wish e.g. sell it to a magazine, submit it to a book.
• If your tutorial is accepted, payment of US$100 will be made within 2 weeks after your tutorial has been posted on 3DM3. Please note that if we gain evidence in this time that the tutorial or source images used in the tutorial have been plagiarized we will take the tutorial off the site and payment will not be made.
• You must have a PayPal account for us to pay.
• All Exclusive rights provided to 3DM3 for unlimited time.

What we offer for non-exclusive tutorials

• If you want to publish non-exclusive tutorial, article or 'making of' we can offer you One year Membership Advanced member of 3DM3 + CG Chosen | Architecture No.7 magazine.

How to Format Your Tutorial for Submission

Your tutorial must consist of:

• Written tutorials are step-by-step walkthroughs containing text and screenshots. Images called for example pic01.jpg, pic02.jpg - pic130.jpg etc. (max dimension 800px on width) and text file.
• They need to be formatted in HTML but you don’t need to know HTML to do this.
• For Video tutorials: max dimension 800px on width, .flv files only, Final result image, Description of the tutorial.

What writing style should I use?

The way that you explain the information in your tutorial is as important as the information itself. The learner needs to be able to easily understand what they have to do in each step of the tutorial, and for that reason, you should always attempt to use the following techniques when writing your tutorials. Always explain everything that you do in a clear, concise, and thoughtful way.

How to Submit

• Create a .ZIP file including your HTML tutorial and your tutorial images, a text document containing your written introduction / description of the tutorial.
• Completed Submissions can be sent via YouSendIt service to Stryker <stryker [ at ] 3dm3.com> with subject: Exclusive Tutorial or Non-Exclusive Tutorial.
• Indicate yourself for copyrights. You must include follow info: You name, URL of your website (if you have it), your email, paypal email (for exclusive tutorial), your account on 3DM3.
