Zbrush to 3D Studio Max 7 Script

Export a mesh from Zbrush and modify it in Max, then export it and run the script.
Written by David Svantner. Click for homepage.

The script will generate a new .obj file.
(it needs the original .obj exported from Zbrush and the new .obj from Max)
Refresh the model in Zbrush(import tool in edit mode)===>and the Zbrush will use the updated geometry correctly on all subdiv levels!!

(useful in applying a new pose in Max after the Zsculpting.Changing the UV generate crashes in ZBrush)

Zbrush beginner tutorials step by step

Hi there, I just though I would add my tutorials, as I have had great feedback and over 50,000 downloads! Plus they are free...

They take you through the interface, and through the creation of a digital sculpture, including modeling, texturing, and subdivisions. There is also a tutorial on how to generate displacement and bump maps for integration with 3ds max 8.

Hope you find them useful!

I would love to hear any suggestions/comments.

You can find them here : www.PeterMcClory.com in the Zbrush section

Howdy!

I managed to renew my z-links site - a comprehensive collection of over 600 links,
mostly related to zbrush. Included are old and forgotten zbrush resources,
as well as alot new stuff, that are ZBrush 4 related. You can now register and add your own links, too.

Additionially, you can join our irc channel #zbrush/EFnet and its related Wuala group.
You´ll find alot sculpting resources, many files for zbrush, like brushes and alpha ect,
but also photoshop actions, brushes and other things. Just have a look.
If you join the group, you can have much better access to all files but also contribute your own material.

Sorry for the hxxp - links, but due to spam prevention, you need post 10 minimum to post links in this forum.

greets, froyd
