Rep Power: 5 ![]() | how do i make the hidden part of my model to be ignored to save ram Hi. I'm up to a subdivision 7 with my character, and he's now consisting of 8.8 million verts. since my computer only has 3gb of ram, it's becoming a real chore when i have to wait for long pauses because the memory is still processing. I tried hiding the part i was working on (the head) but it still takes ages to do things. is there a way i can tell it to totally ignore that part of the model until i actually need it? i may need to upgrade my ram, but for now i think i may just get it done. it's just whether i can get it done without it being a pain in the ass or being bearable. |
