Thanks minimus - I used Maya for almost all of it apart from the flock of birds at the start which I did in After Effects

cool. how long did it take to render it all?

i have always wanted to make a shot film i such a cartoonish style, but to afraid it will kill me with its render time.

I think it was about 20 hours. There are 3 separate renders. The outdoor scene at the start didn't take very long. Then the indoor scene minus the trophy. Then the trophy on its own, as this is the only object for which I used Mental Ray. Both indoor renders had motion blur on them so that slowed it down a fair bit I think.
