Rep Power: 0 ![]() | wah !!!, a lot of poly you have here ;) umh, i don't see bad thing (despite the incredible number of poly ^^) try to make new edge loop which vanish on the rear hole (upper the rear wheel), you have strange tripatch, and you can just make new cut ;) |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | yeah the number of polies this time was quite hard to manage ^^"" (thank god for the smooth button in blender...) but with cars, ive found that this time and last time (this is the second car ive made so far) when there is a need for an increase of detail as you move from one part of the body to another, i end up creating these patches where there are lots of triangles (as seen above the rear wheel and the front edge of the door in the last screenie)... still trying to think up a way to keep it all as quads. but thanks for the comments tyio :) ! |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | no i dont like extreme modelling but i think that this happened primarily because of the bonnet - i felt that i needed all those polies to define the curves etc of the bonnet - esp the curves where the headlights are and all the polies that stretch off the central hole at the front where the mercedes emblem would go. what came afterwards was pretty much extreme frustration because obviously it was very very hard to get to smooth properly ;) |
