Rep Power: 0 ![]() | MechWarrior : Bounty Hunter - Marauder II I'm new to this site and this is my first post. I play the WizKids tabletop clicks game "MechWarrior ". And using only the physical game piece and a ruler for scaling, I modeled the 'Mech in 3D. I plan to model other pieces from the game ('Mechs, Tanks, VTOLs, etc.) and create a short animated movie with them.... So far I have just used solid colors to give the model color - I plan to fully map the model with proper texturing to give it a more battle appearance.... Comments welcome...... P.S. - I would do the traditional Clay/Wiremesh renders - but not sure exactly how to achieve that look, any tutorials available ?? Tools used : 3ds max 5 & Brazil ![]() ![]() |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() | To do a wireframe look, go into 3ds and hit F10 (the render scene menu) then click on Renderer, from there click on Wireframe and set a value for how wide the wireframes are going to be (I usually set mine at 1.0) |
