Human skull - Zbrush sculpt

Hi guys, so i finaly made my first zbrush sculpt. I posted it here in W.I.P because i want to render it in 3ds max. And i wanted to ask someone who is skilled with exporting from zbrush to some other 3d app(in my case 3ds max) 2010) how can i export it without losing any details, but not with such a huge amount of polys(in my case 3,9 milion) And my 3ds max says it's not able to import 3,9million polys and the scene doesnt import, but when i use a lower amount of polys in zbrush and import it to max add a smoother I lose alot of detail. So please any help and C&C will be nice. Thanx

If ya made the skull in layers of different subdiv. try take the low poly version, export to 3ds max, bake the hires to a displace map. In 3ds max get the good settings and you have a lowpoly to work with, but hipoly in render. Can't help you more, as I'm at work. Good luck!
