Talking Flipsy! (3D cartoon character)

Hey guys,

I'm finally starting my very first 3D cartoon character, and his name is Flipsy. I just started on him, and he is nowhere near complete. I am thinking about creating alot of characters and making some cool little animations with them. If you would like to view the short (very short....2 and a half seconds lol) animation of Flipsy, I will post it up on here.

So far I have his eyes and the beta part of his body done (I mean just the first part.) If you are wondering what that green stuff on his head is, it's his hair! :D Comments please!

Here is a new image of Flipsy! I just made a noise map in 3dsmax for the background and rotated his eyelids to make it look like he is sad. Then I added the raindrops from particles for the mood. I know that he still looks really simple, but I just really started. Comments please!

It doesn't have to look complex to look good. :)
