Nice Idea
but i think the theatre could be closer , so we can see it better in the final render
needs a huge render with vray
making it Dark and scary will be better
but its my opinion ;)
keep it up
looking forward to see the final

BTW: Sorry for delay in the project, I worked on my first book and it finished. It's "Making of Schwerin Theater - Part 1" that it completely speak about modeling of the theater. I hope today run special web page for it.

You can read free part of it in 3dm3 or in my site and can buy it from there.

Sorry for delay. At this time I want start texturing of all parts then return to final scene composite.

I start from flowerpots, I think it must be bronze. So start making good bronze material for this theater. This image is not good, it become gold+copper and bronze I think. It need more work. Then I will make it dirty.

OK, I come back to XP! and allthing work good! I worked on the flowerpot material. It was hard because color and type of the flowerpots in my references wasn't like any metal! anyway I try to make bronze material, when I make it, start some changes on it to make material near to my references. and result is there and I think it's good. What you think? (You can buy it with three different material from here.)

I make hard black lines on it to show damages on flowerpot from far renders. If I have close up of it, will make these parts, hard Bump.

You can see it in bigger size at here (900*1140).

I decide to make metal part as copper and wall as sand and lime. there is result:

Attend that I don't use light in this scene so material display different and also edges aren't visible well. I will make final changes when I put it in the final scene.

Dear friends,

In this level of the project, I need your advise. most of you know that I want travel to europe (Italy) to get job arroud architectural visualizatio (or job related to modeling). So need make my portfolio better and better.

Abot this project, I'm in texturing level and my skill in texturing isn't enough good to make good textures for the thetre. I can work more on it and then get enough skill but these days I'm too busy and also my travel become near (in Jan or Feb). So I have two way and need your advise to help me select one:

1. I can continue this project. try to learn texturing and then work and finish it. Somay I don't find time to learn enough and for time limiting, may make it quickly without enough attend to details and quality.

2. I can start my next prject "Milan Cathedral" for just modeling too. Then I will have two modeled building in my portfolio.

What's your suggest?

First, Happy 2008! (maybe it's late but...)

Second, I want say thank you all of you that was with me int this project in 2007. I really wished it finish but really my time is close. Also my skill in texturing isn't enough good so as you says, I will not start Milan Cathedral project till this finish.

OK, I will finish it but I will be too busy till March and cannot work on it. But if find time, will do. Also want say thanks for your shopping my first e-Book "Making Schwerin Theater 1" and want say that soon I will publish Video Tutorial of it and another e-Book for amateurs 3d workers.

Hope you like it and be useful for all of you,
regards,
