Setting Click to enlarge 1) - Use one Directional light - vrayshadow - multiplier 0.2 - colour very light yellow 2) - 4 vray light for 4 windows - colour very light yellow - multiplier 1.5 - invisible check - ignore light normal - affect diffuse - affect specular 3) The other end of vray - colour very light yellow - multiplier 3.5 - invisible check - ignore light normal - affect diffuse - affect specular 4) Last vray - colour very light yellow - multiplier 3.0 - invisible check - ignore light normal - affect diffuse - affect specular Render setting (F10) Global switches - uncheck the default light image sampler - type = adaptive subdivision filter = mitchell-netravali adaptive subdivision image sampler - min rate = 2 max rate = 4 GI - on is check - reflective and refractive also check - Primary bounces = multiplier 1.0 with GI engine = irradiance map - Secondary bounces = multiplier 1.0 with GI engine = Quasi Monte Carlo irradiance map - high Enviroment - all check with GI enviroment change to very light yellow colour mapping - Exponetial Thanks in advance for viewing and comments |

| Forum Moderator ![]() | Interesting scene, looks nice but I agree with the over-exposure..the GI seems way too strong. The materials all seem too basic, add some nice textures to the floor and walls, bring out some vibrant colors (such as a dark red on the wall). Another improvement could be adding some more elements to the scene (some minor details, such as coffee cups on the table or vases on the floor, etc, etc.) Good luck! ;) - Gary
