Jail

ok, ive been working on this for a day now, it's a jail scene, it's almost finished, i just have to play around with the lights, add some more, and also work on the checker and ground textures, just add some more realism...

Nice job! Great textures, I didn't care for the texture on the main floor that much. Cant wait to see the revised version. Are you going to lighten up some areas of the scene?

yes, i'm going to lighten it up a bit, actually i'm rendering it now, stand by for the revised render!!! i just have one question, after you people see the new one, i had some problems with the area shadows of the lamps on the wall to the right, when i put the shadows to Area, they just don't appear at all!! it's just like turning off the shadows!! i can do area shadows with the rectangle and disc area from brazil light, but i can't do it with an omni!! any ideas what might be wrong?

ok, here's the updated version, still some dark spots to cover, but i'll do that, also, i need to fix the lamp's area shadows... i added area shadows to the lights coming from outside the building, so the shadow from the balcony casted on the ground gets a nice fade effect and last, the checker texture, add some dirt to it. thx for all comments!

ok, here's the update, added a few lights, but still too dark on the left entrance... but i added dirt to the checker texture, removed all the bumpiness of the walls, added some bloom to the outside light and glow to the lamps, but i think there's too much on them... i'm still trying to fix the lamp shadows too and i lowered the specularity of the wall too! hope it's better!!!!
