Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Hotel room - finished Hi guys, I am glad the site is back! Here are some shots from my last work which was made and finished while the site was down, so no WIPs. I only did a visualization of a hotel renovation project, so no interior design by me, only modeling and rendering. Completely done in Max 6, with Radiosity. All comments welcome, though they will be recognized for some future projects only. :) This topic was posted on some other 3d communities, so maybe some of U have seen it. Cheers wide view of the entire room close-up on the couch and table afternoon view of the make-up board bathroom perspective ![]() |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Yeah, excellent work Divarch!!! Nice rendering and modelling!! :) The only thing that looks a bit wierd for me, are the pillows on the couch, they look a bit flat, they don't have that "puffy" look to them. Other than that, it's a quality job bud. :) |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | thanks guys thank you all for such nice comments.. I appreciate it, really @arona: thanks man, will be more of my work soon, I am negotiating some stuff, so sit tight.:) @Millies45 & disaac: thanks guys, I am satisfied with all texturing quality also, except the pillows.. yes:( I used a ONB shader with, falloff as diffuse, but I think I brightened both the colors too much. Though when using Radiosity, you can hardly predict the effect, so I experimented a lot.... and then the deadline came, so I left it. It's the same with some bumping used, if you look closely. Tweaking the 'advanced material override' more, is all that's needed. Thanks for noticing, and will be aware of it in the future.:) @MMOAdude: It's a background .jpg of course, though it actually represents the town&coast where the hotel will be. Not so high on the hill, though:) Thanks again and  |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | What a great looking peice of work, the quality of the afternoon light in the second shot is particularly impressive. Are you a visulisation artist or an interior designer as well? And many hours work do these images represent? |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | thanks guys for your input, I am glad this topic is still alive, though it's finished some time ago.. News is that investors will maybe make some additional changes, so it's possible there will be an update. When? I am not sure, though. Thanks again for nice comments. @MeltMan: Well, actually I am finishing architecture studies, though it takes me long cause I love to do other stuff :) Yes, I do exterior & interior design, as well as presentation & visualization. I do it for 5 yrs now. Maxing and CADing for 7yrs. The time spent can not be calculated correctly, cause the clients changed things alot, and upside down, but it is around 30-40 hours. Cheers |
