the trees you have used looks a bit dead, so i would maybe gone for a dead dark forest as an background or maybe some sad mountains.... ^^ hehe

I would definitely add some life to those trees, but that's just my input haha =) I think some mountains would fit nicely with this scene..along with a castle or something that would catch the viewer's eye. It looks nice so far, but I would fix the water..the bump looks a little odd..still nice so far though. Good luck! ;)

Yeah after i finish with the lighting i will start adding the foliage and what not. The thing is that i already have a good amount of polys already.. I think im at 120k . I might just create the castle in another scene and then photoshop :)

I dont know how thats going to go since this my first "large" scene. so wish me luck! :P

Can you post a wireframe of the scene?..what are all the polys focused on?

Heres the wire frame, If you want a better one or a better angle i can do that..
Most of the Polys that i think are most focused on are the stones around the edges of the entrances or towers, and the roofs but i think the roofs are necessary.

For the roofs, you can just use displacement map or make a whole row in a plane instead of tile-by-tile. Anyways, I hope to see an updated version which is more 'lifely' (better waters, more trees with more leaves etc.). Not bad, keep it up ;)

Thanks.
