VW Beetle Buggy

few days ago i started on my final school project for 3d, we had to pick an old European car from before 1980 and combine it with a country, so we need to change the car a bit to fit in the landscape, i choose an old VW Beetle and gonna combine it with the jungle of Bolivia, here is a the start of my beetle

WOW this is absolutleyy stunning! I love all your detailing. Do you use any refrence pitures for the suspention or you do it just from you head.

thx for the replies,
@ Honzik: my first year is almost over now, this project is my final
i did spend 6 years of self study before i started this studies, so i already had some experience (and ps: its not only 3d i study, its a whole lot more)

@ Bam: jup did it all :D , now i just need to figure out how to make it work with a rig :/

k, an other update, i've been modeling kinda long today, till 5 am :P
i had to redo some of the rear cage, so the engine coolers could fit in, the block the coolers are on will be changed a bit, this is just a place holder.
I also started on the rear inside, its not 100% the same as in the real beetle, but i have to change some stuff to make the cage fit in.
also added a render of the lights (forgot to add it in the previous post)

c&c welcome
