peugeot 206 first modeling

hi there!
this is my thirst attempt for modeling a wrc 206.

i began with 3ds max poly modeling an then imported in carrara 4 (my favourite program) for wheels and mapping (i don't now how to use materials in 3ds max yet).

please give me your advises i'm willing to improve and i will be soon buying a new PC with much more speed.

The car itself looks like low-poly model, but wheels are high-poly.. Why?

good observation!

yes i had to because my computer is (at the present time) too slow for high poly resolution. for the wheels it was easier because i made then seperatly and only added them at the end.

i will soon have a better computer and hope smooth all those ugly edges. champfer doors and windows.

sure!
as soon as my new computer is at work i'll send à smotther version.

i will surely re import the model in 3ds as it has a far more efficient smoothing tool than carrara has. Also need advice for real car texturing within 3ds (car painting)
