nissan fairlady 350z

hi everyone!
just to reminisce on the old days ( not too old ) when i first started to step into the 3d world...cars has always been my passion.
and the first car i built was a 350z...that was in 2004, sadly my HDD crashed so i couldnt dig it back up to compare with this one...critics and suggestions are welcome :) happy viewing!
btw as im currently working on nextgen games, i'm modeling on a 'below 22500 poly' rule...so guess im still on track coz halfbody of the car currently counts to 1770 poly :D

started of with some splines for the spline cage

cowel1987 : thanks man. practice makes perfect :D

here's some updates
-added details to the front
-defined shutlines and gaps of components
-for the time being, the bodykits are still in the testing stage.might change em or maybe not. high res references for veilside bodykits are hard to find.this bodykit is from modiauto.com
-modeled racing hart rims, the standard rims are ugly ;p

questions, suggestions and critics are always welcome.thanks!

symmetry-ed it and im quite satisfied with the overall looks, will continue on the rear detailing when i have time

some quick updates, didnt have much time to spend on this car today.added some details, refined some wireframes. emblem and logo might need to be normal mapped later on coz its taking up quite some polycount.

haha thanks bro for the compliments, though i myself find my own flaws throughout the process, so i repair em before u could spot em hahaha ;p
yes yes...surely the headlights, interior, engine and all other detailed components shall be built in time.still spending some time collecting reference pictures.the under carriage is the hardest part to find, but in due time i shall complete it. textures eh...guess ill paint em in after i layout the UV's...ill post every single process here.if anyone wants it to be a tutorial...lemme know and ill try my best to compile one upon request
cheers!
