Rep Power: 0 ![]() | well first off, nice job for your first car, and really good rendering. you might want to think about not making the negative space so large, and having your image on the bottom corner doesnt help either, im including a picture were i pointed out some areas that stand out the most as mesh errors, the other parts seem proportionate but it seems like they may be to rounded, anyway take a look |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | update well i worked a bit since my first render (the red audi tt) and got the black audi tt.You can see that i solved the problem with windows and also the front mask edge is now soften and more curved...thx for the tips it really helped ;but i still can't solve the problem with the door limitations...hood limitations...i chamfered them, then extruded them in minus....then inset them...and tht's the result...:( |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I can help you!!! Dude, I have a huge tip for you :D , looks like you don't use it already. you obviously struggle with getting your meshsmooth to do waht you want it to. . so here's what I say. select the edges that you want to define in your base poly editing mode- beneath the meshsmooth- edges like corners and ridges. select those edges then apply a very minute chamfer to them, almost unnoticable, say about 0.01. now put meshsmooth back. . .the results will be quite satisfactory hopefully. . you now have much more control over your meshsmooth, this technique helps a lot when modelling cars. . .check out my thread to see how I used it on my 350Z. play around with this chamfering technique, test out different settings and see for yourself. . . Hope I helped. Tridae |
