| Registered User | Looks nice, man! But.. after digging in the Lambo pics.. and being idelistic.. I can say that you have a biiig field of work left! :) Well, modeling is not bad, really. But details are mostly wrong. As shown below. The headlights are quietly wrong: the flat part should be FLAT and attached to the glass covering it - meaning, it should go upstairs on your model. Front bumper is wrong detailed, tho the lip is right. Also the bumper has an edge on the side, pay attention on it. And some serious stuff is missing: turnlights, door locks, mirrors, wipers, Murcielago wheels put on dietic tires instead of these fatties on ricey 15" chinese Murcielago replicas. ![]() ![]() And it's only from one view... I'd keep silence about the interior that should be remodeled after looking at the referring pic. Aight, engine looks good, but if it was any true... after looking to the original, your engine model looks absolutely ball-cutting. All Lamborghinis are famous for having a big wire mess under the bonnet.. but it always looks beautiful. I feel sorry if you are being upset because of my post. Man, modeling is modeling and the ideal modeling is an art based on accuracy. And then you feel like an artist when it's done. Keep going ![]() |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | It looks great, you really should add materials, I know you say you're "no good" with it, but the car would look much better with some colour, just try. Good luck. :D ps: just an opinion, art has nothing to do with accuracy |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | To Karpov: thanks alot!! Ive learnt a few ways to texture and render a car, but thats not the problem. when modelled this car, i didnt keep in mind that i should detach most parts of the interior and exterior. To Diskovod: Thanks alot for your comments, no I am not upset at all, in fact, i respect an honest opinion. But what i forgot to post at the beginning was that this was the first time i model an interior and engine, and to be honest i was surprised it turned out that well. ps. My aim is not getting as close as possible to the real thing, but as close as possible to reality, so basically I will model anything in any shape as long as it looks realistic. Thanks alot guys

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | There's no need to detach to add different materials, just select the polygons you want and add the material to them. If what you want is to unwrap then yes, it would be easier detaching. |
