Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Futuristicish aircraft - revamp in maya 1st wip ive posted so heres the run down. Its for animations school assignment and i've nearly finished moddeling. Unfortunately I cant go into as much detail as i would like due to restictions on render time etc. we had the network crash last semester due to massive load while we were all rendering. unfortunate but its forcing me to be efficient if i want to get a 2min animation into 12hour render time. Ive used Subdiv (aka Hyper nurbs) and modeled first from polygons cos thats where im most proficient. starting with a single polygon and then making extrusions cutting and so fourth. looks sweet with a raytace shader applied but, costly on render time. Im working on some landing gears rite now. so... watch this space p.s. some may notice it simila if not identical to the (Outer Limits) matte work in the gallery |
