Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Halo, the car modeled in Rhino, and its exterior has being done for a while now, but I have been to lazy to model interior. The door and windows were split oyt of the body and edges were fileted, and where filet didn't work I used blend surfeses. I'll post a finished model when I render it with Mental Ray, which I can kind of use now. |

| Registered User | Great work! I can't even begin to match up to you in car modelling. I can make the basics of the car but i suck at making smooth surfaces and accurate body panels. I'll post a picture of my unfinished nissan skyline. I've kinda gotten tired of working on it lately so who knows if i will get it done. Even if it does get done, it will look mediocre. But practice makes perfect right? (it will take some time because i have to resize my pictures and make sure they are within the max. file size......grrr) |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() | xhurleyx keep working and dont give up, practice does make perfect. I would like to see your pics. I can give you some tip, because I had lots of problems too when I started, just remember a lot of command in rhino are menus, so you should look at the command list , which has every command in it and try them, there are many ways to make one thing in rhino. |

| Registered User | Marduk - I can get a few pictures of my unfinished skyline, its the most completed one. I got kinda stressed out from working on it and not all the body panels match up correctly. I have a lot of trouble with choosing the right surface mode (usually "from curve netwrk" or "patch" and both look like crap in their own way.) I'll get pictures probably tomorrow or tuesday. (i dont have them on this computer) P.S. one thing i am good at modelling is 3d glass bongs. Some of them look like something from Dr. Suess's worst nightmares. |
