Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Hey levente. You must move your vertex on the three axis. :idea2: I think polymodeling would be the best to model a car, there are several ways to approach to your project, maybe you should use the boxmodeling, take a good look to the help file :deal: on the Editable Poly section and see how the tools works on each subobject level, look at some car wires and try to figure out how they did it, tutorials can help a lot, personally i do read tutorials but i don't follow them, i have got more confused following them, it would be a good idea to start a WIP, most people here will help you when you get stuck. i hope this can help you. | .:: DarkGaijin ::. | You got it dude. That's polymodeling and that's my technique too. I sure know splinesmodeling and how to handle a good mesh but... I prefer polymodeling. You can check my tutorial at the tuts section. C'mon, have a taste of polymodeling and enjoy a little. :super: |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Szasz! allright, yeah polymodeling is the start for many but you could use splines to build up your model. i found it much faster to use this method, by projecting the drawing in the backround ( ertesz?). Ok, now, after you have done that, you can easily refine the edges. (Szal igy csinaljuk) next thing is extruding the edges and so on. Lotsa work. Also, my advice is only build one side of the car far as possible and mirror it. One more thing, chamfer the edges befor using extensive meshsmooth and separate the parts early on with different colors, so it will be an ease to detache them.(szal igy valahogy). ciao! |
