Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I am working on a scene which I hope to animate the batmobile in. There is still a massive amount of work to do with texturing to get this looking right but my main problem at the moment is with the lights. I am unsure what type of lighting I should be using for the street lights, volume lights, area lights, spot lights etc etc. If anyone could give some advice on this matter it would be much appreciated. | Autodesk Maya User | Maybe you need glasses ,,dollmaker. by the way great modeling but i really dont like the scene because it will be very dificcult to built a realistic one a lot of details peoples,trash,cars,drits,grafitty.....good luck in future.

| Autodesk Maya User | Lights am iwould be using a lot of point lights but in the midle and area light for the street lights.the main thig is the lights shoudnt be new because it is a durty enviroment so the light are slightly yellowish.plus dont forget the moon.the thing is you have to play with the settings in the llights some of them you will even bairly see and as i can see you have putted some of the lights but didnt change the settings.good luck in future.

| SkoleSlasken ![]() | The car looks sweet. but i can agree that its a bit dark. if you only gonna show off a model like a car or simmilar its realy usefull to have some contrast diffrences from ground/background and the model itself. As for the scene i gues it getts more tricky. a solution whould be to make the moon shine harder and lighting up the car a littel more. or add some light nodes on the car "i dont know if the batmobile has sutch nodes on it or not" hehe :P Anyway the car looks great :) As that is said. this is a realy old thread dont bump em to mutch.
