| CG Artist ![]() | Hello, I was making a car crash simulation with three cars actually, I am modelling three cars for the purpose. I myself have not developed the idea on how I am gonna do it myself yet, but I need to know how I can make cars ram each other and their parts break like glasses, doors and have dents n all, that looks pretty much realistic. if any of you guys have an idea of how this can be achieved, please do not hesitate to post a reply, This is important to me and I would be much grateful. Thank You :) |

| Registered User | Sounds cool indeed Real 3d....! Well, to take it all piece by piece, I'll start out by sugesting to use a Bomb for small flying fragments and especially for breaking windows. :) The Bomb can be found under Create-->SpaceWarps-->Geometric/Deformable-->Bomb... But maybe you have have already planned to use this feature? If you are not familiar with the Bomb, please ASK about how to use it! I will gladly guide you setting this thing up. |

| CG Artist ![]() | Many Thanks Anifacted, I already Planned the Bomb Feature and know my work around it, but thanks anyways, I was also planning to use reactor dynamics to make the fly-around pieces of the cars and also particles to simulate crashin of Metal, can you add to this? I dont exactly know how to make cars have dent on the CRASH and breaked things flying around. Thanks |
