Just a noob looking for some feedback....First assignment at school

its OK, try to add some more lights, make materials look believable, try UVW mapping on Objects, dont make your objects appear like mere boxes, happy modelling and a Happy new year to you :)

yeah,more lights and shadows(that picture has no shadows at all)

Use the GI,then shange the texture, it'll be better.
