Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I'm a new user to Rhino (v.2) and I just can't export to 3DMax (v.3 and 5.2). When I export my bmw (as .3ds, IGES, Autocad .dwg and .dxf) it looks ok at the perspective view, but it misses parts (as half of the hood, half of the bumper), when I try to render, it disapears the parts missing in the perspective view too. Does anyone knows whats happening??? Appreciate your help! |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | hey man, a word of advice... i found out that just setting the 2-sided material to those parts isn't very good answer. I've got better. You can either flip the direction of each surface in rhino by using flip command, or you can apply Normal modifier in max. thats way better solution. Try applying to those unflipped surfaces some complex material like with radiosity or smth like that. you'll see that your reflections wouldn't be soo good. and skinfly, thanx for the tip |
