Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Shader Artist Description: The successful candidate for this technical artist position is someone specialized in the creating of textures and shaders for game environments for multiple genres. Requirements: -Skilled in painting textures using Photoshop and applying texture UV's to objects. -Familiarity with complex shader networks such as those used in Unreal Editor 3, Maya and 3dsMax. -Knowledge of Normal Mapping, Bump Mapping, Environmental Mapping creation and use. -Basic understanding of GgFX, HLSL, or Cg from a technical artist's perspective. -Previous game development experience with XBOX, PS2 or PC. Application Requirements: A demo reel demonstrating your skill at creating animated material samples as well as a variety of in game surfaces and shaders such as metallic, reflective, dull, wood, fabric, anisitropic, foliage, plastic, liquid and self illuminating objects is required.
