Volition, the THQ studio that created Saints Row, Red Faction, Summoner, and the Descent/Freespace series, is located in Champaign, IL, a friendly, progressive university town two hours from Chicago and Indianapolis. The cost of living in Champaign is 26% lower than Los Angeles and 45% lower than San Francisco.

Cinematic Artists:

• Work closely with character animators, fx artists, and sound designers to create dynamic, character-based cinematics that will be played through a real-time, 3d game engine.

Effects Artists:

• Develop visually stunning in-game FX elements.

Character Artists:

• Work from concept art to model and texture visually striking, high-poly, ultra-realistic characters
