Maxscript Developer / Network Rendering Specialist

Job Description


Genex is looking for a freelance MaxScript developer (3ds Max) to create a specialized user interface for our internal “virtual studio” to be used by our creative team in generating photo-realistic imagery for our clients.

Responsibilities:

- You’ll work with our creative team along with another 3ds Max lighting/rendering specialist to create a virtual studio in 3ds Max 9 using Mental Ray to satisfy our print, web, and animation needs for our automotive client Acura.

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of network render configurations with an emphasis in Backburner.
- Highly proficient with 3ds Max and MaxScript.
- Proven skills in creating custom user interfaces and custom controls in 3ds Max.
- Must assist our IT department in setting up our 3D pipeline via Backburner to our render farm.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexible on-site schedule, open to off-site schedule needs pre-intergration.
