Rep Power: 0 ![]() | FX Artist Responsibilities: -Develop real time effects utilizing particle sprites. -Develop pre-rendered effects for use in video game cinematics. -Develop textures needed for particle and FX in Photoshop. -Work with artists and designers to create all special effects. -Develop material and particle shaders using tools such as Unreal. Required Experience: -Minimum 3-5 years game industry experience. -Experience in first person shooters and/or action adventure games. -Production experience with high end CG Effects systems utilizing particle systems, dynamics, and procedural animation (Maya/MAX/etc). -Understanding of real time game effects techniques such as sprites, vertex/pixel shaders and normal mapping.
