Freelance Lighting & Rendering Specialist (3ds Max)

Job Description

Genex is looking for a freelance 3D lighting/rendering specialist with an emphasis in automotive studio lighting techniques as well as outdoor HDR lighting setups to help develop an internal 3D render pipeline.

Responsibilities:

- You’ll work with our creative team along with another 3ds Max developer to create a virtual studio in 3ds Max 9 using Mental Ray to satisfy our print, web, and animation needs for our top automotive client.

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of photographic compositions.
- Highly proficient with 3ds Max and Mental Ray.
- Highly proficient in creating custom shaders.
- Proven skills in creating photo-realistic imagery, with an emphasis in automotive compositions.
- Knowledge and experience with Backburner.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexible on-site schedule, open to off-site schedule needs pre-intergration.
