3D Animators and Artists: Cardiff, UK

Dinamo Productions is an innovative animation production company based in Cardiff, UK, producing high quality 2D and 3D digital animation, visual effects and design for TV, film and the web.

We’re looking for talented 3D Animators to begin work this year on a live action/animated series; previous production experience preferable but not essential. A variety of positions are available: Rigger, CG Texturer, Character Animator and multi-skilled applicants are encouraged.

The successful applicants will be team players, be flexible in their work practises, can rise to the challenge of new techniques and can produce animation to the quality expected within tight deadlines. The jobs are on-site at our Cardiff studio.

Job Requirements:

• Working with timed animatics and storyboard edits.
• Animating CG characters within live action environments.
• Reacting to live action performances.
• Building CG set extensions.

Main software packages:
3D Studio Max, Character Studio, Splutterfish Brazil, ZBrush.

Understanding of the following would also be an advantage:
Maxscript, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, multi-pass rendering.

Initially this will be for short term contracts but with the opportunity of further work as the project progresses. These are paid positions, rates based on ability.
