Military in your blood - Type 90 Tank

Hey all, i heard via Cgstripe there was a competition about military stuff, luckily by chance yesterday i started modelling a tank.

I think i will be done modelling in 1 or 2 days, i never actually textured before so i'll have to do my best.

I'm not sure if i can finish it in time but i'll try it for sure.

Here's what i got so far.

I don't know, i don't know that much about tanks.

@ Arona the lighting is just lightracer in 3dsmax 6.

Thanks for the comments.

Here's a small update, i didn't do much yesterday cause i had to go to my cousin.

OOps i gotta fix the tracks coming going through the front, easy to fix.

Oh one question: Do you have to model everything like the cockpit and stuff behind the wheels, or only whats visible?

theres no necassity, but absolutely more complex model is better. but the parts that are invisible in most views i think is only wasting time and poly count.
this pic is very good keep it on.

I think i'll stop with the contest because i'm kind of busy lately and i've got some personal problems.

I'll finish the tank but i won't participate with the contest.
