As you know things arn't going exactely as they should. I guess we should give stryker some time to empty his mail. All the models you send must be examined to see if you've sent everything needed and that takes time and in that time the mail box might get full. I'm sure an extension of the deadline would be in order due to the circumstances. Bare with us

Stryker should clear this up when he has a little free time

Sorry for the inconvenience

my model is ready and i tryed to submit it but i couldnt. the file size was bigger than 5000 kb. i could reach that size with RAR but an error occured: select an model file.
i think theres no wise way to decrease the model file size. the max.filesize(for submit) must be more than that. and i saw some models with bigger file sizes. so at last what should i do, waiting :thumbsdow .
thanks.

I guess you should email the model to Stryker. But now that's not possible, so you'll have to wait some more.
If you could fix the error with the rar archive, it should work. I dunno what error you get so I can't even give a tip about how to solve the problem.

Yeah, I agree with Nsert on the extension part, maybe it would only be fair to grant an extension. Oh and, I wanted to ask if we could submit a RAR file instead of Zip?? I seem to get better compression when it's in RAR.

yeas, an extension of the deadline would be the proper thing to do...

and also, either increase the file size limit for the archive as it seems that i am not the only one with this problem, or maybe allow users to upload rar archives...

still waiting for a word from the organisers :)

I'm sure that we have no other option but to extend the deadline

About increasing the size accepted or the archive format, well... Stryker is the only one who can tell you about them

Stryker, you should find 5 minutes to clear this up...it's nasty

I can't upload too, but about .rar files, I think there is solution - you should add file in rar archive and after that in zip, because the only problem is software, it accepts only .zip extension, using this trick you can solve that problem.

STRYYYYYYKEEEEEEER!!!
WHAT DO WE DOOOOOOO??? TELL US SOMETHING!!!
:deal:

it works to put a rar archive inside a zip archive
however, the compression is close to 0 :) still, you have a rar inside a zip and that reduces the size of the archive compared to just a zip archive of all the files needed to submit

Compression is 0. But only we need is to change file extension from .rar to .zip, what we can saccessefully and correctly achieve.
Cheers.

P.S. But what really do we do now? It looks like Stryker is unreachable for the present time. I still can't upload - there is some problems with my account.

It look like Stryker has some kind of problems and I think we should wait a bit. I hope there is nothing serious.
