Rep Power: 7 ![]() | UPDATE! As I was finishing my model in the last days of the competition period I was not able even to make a good render. Here's my last render with a background picture. It seemes that's almost the best I'm able to achieve from my extra-powerfull computer (Pentium II 266 :-))) Hope you'll like it.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I can't believe you made this model car with that computer! How do you manage so many polygons with a Pentium II 266!! I have a Pentium II 300 and the MAX doesn't work with it! What graphics card have you got!? Please let me know! |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | New UPDATE! I have 160 MB Ram and 8M AGP Video card that works properly only in Max3. So I'm able to use Max 3 for modeling. And here's my model in black color. It appeared very hard to make a black car. I think that's why I almost haven't seen black cars in 3d. What do you think about mine?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | well, I dont think you need a 128 ddr video, but its quite strange. Because with my p4 2.1 with 1280Mb ddr ram and 64ddr of video, its start to get slow when it comes to 100.000, and for me this car has almost this poly count, hasnt it? So, can you tell me your voodoo magic? I really would appreciate. You model is quite good, but I guess the shader should be a little bit less reflective. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hey SPWAR, Very nice model. I am fairly new to modeling thou and wonder how you modeled the tread onto ure tyre. I usually bump map it and it's not that good. Is there an easy way of doing it? or it just a tedius task in which you have to endure? :( |
