Your computer setup

I just thought it would be cool to know what systems everyone is on. just state CPU, motherboard, graphics card, RAM, and if its custom or not.

Mine (custom):
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (running at 2.01Ghz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte K8N Pro (dual bios :buttrock: )
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 9800XT (256MB)
RAM: 1GB (512 x 2) Kingston Hyper-X PC3200 DDR (low-latency gaming RAM)

I think next time I'll go with Intel. I know everyone says they're crappy but my AMD just overheats and crashes whenever I do anything (Mind you I have a sub standard case with no fans and I live in Queensland, Australia... nice and hot...).

I've always gone intel. My previous was a 1.2GB, before that a dual PIII 650, and I've never had problems. A lot of my coworkers run AMD and we battle all of the time but for what I do, it serves me well. :dedmorozb

lol i think any proc would overheat in that situation just kidding....but yeah case fans would definitly help, and you may have a pretty bad CPU heatsink and fan. i have an AMD i have no problems with it whatsoever, but then since i'm a computer gamer i have 4 case fans lol, and it doesn't usually get too hot in georgia (USA)

did i ask for all that other stuff, ghiaman? jk anyway, nice system....my PSU is only 350W lol...but i don't need more power (right now at least) its an Antec TruePower  it has two fans...one intake on the underside of the PSU, and one exit fan blowing out the back. it really helps on cutting down the heat that gets trapped at the top of the case :D btw, where did u get all of your parts....i got mine at www.newegg.com - best parts store EVER :buttrock: and i bet i have more case fans (not including PSU fans) than anyone here 2 on the back, one side panel, and one on the front = 4 :D
