Here's my 4 years old PC :
Intel Pentium 4 3.20GHz (Hyper-Threading enabled)
Windows XP SP2
512MB DDR Kingston ValueRAM
ASUS P5GD1-PRO Motherboard
nVidia 6600 256MB PCI-e graphic card
Samsung SyncMaster 510n Monitor
450W iCute Power Supply (came together with the casing)
120GB Seagate HDD

In my opinion, it will always be better to 'build' the computer yourself instead of buying from a 'package' since it will always be cheaper and you can choose which you want it to be better while still within the budget (since some people might want more RAM, but those 'packages' don't offer that / the price is over budget)

Thanks.

I use a Zepto notebook
intel dualcore 2.0ghz
2giga ram
512mb nvidia 7600 graphic
60 giga 7200rpm harddrive
WD 250 giga external hd
and a Sony 19" external screen(I love that monitor)
The reason for the notebook is that I can model anywhere I go ;)
