what do u guys use for CGI?
my sys : P4 2.4g
GeForce FX 5200
can't remember the rest...
is it good enough to do CG?

I use:

Hardware:
P4 3.20ghz Hyper-threaded
2 gigs RAM
128mb GeForce FX 5200 running dual displays

Software:
3D Studio Max 6
Poser 5
Alias|Wavefront Maya 5 Unlimited
Discreet Combustion 3

I have had no problems with this setup at all.
I used to use a Celeron 700mhz with 320 MB RAM and a 64mb ATI Radeon card. It worked alright but dragged ass on complex scenes.
