video card help (radeon 9800)

I need to upgrade my card for my 2nd computer (which is a dog) but I have a question. I'm looking at getting either the Radeon 9800 with 256mb memory or the 9800 Pro with 128 memory. Does the 128 Pro version make up for having less memory than the standard 9800 with 256? And...is the Atlantis verson (sapphire technology) worth the extra 20 or so bucks? Is Atlantis the same thing just higher quality parts or memory?
Any ideas anyone?

I don't see why they don't just keep it simple. They have a trillion different variations of every variation. Like, Atlantis, Sapphire, 256MB, 128MB, Pro, XT, X800, etc..

On Radeon 128 or 256 make no sence on effect work, it's only have reason in overclocking process to see some differences in 128 and 256.
GeXCube, Asus, eVGA -> remember this names
