mmm . . . most parts are not of those who recently arrived in the market.
so you could atleast browse more for the latest.
and not familiar with the specs.
but if you are like buying something for industry or work purposes then i think its great if you'll buy those multi processors and dual cores.

here are my specs, buy atleast something higher than this

Mboard: Winfast NF3 250 Series 2.2GHZ to 3.0GHZ
* w/ 3 memory slots (max 3072 of RAM )
* w/ 7 USB ports
* w/ 2 PS ports

Processor: AMD Athlon64 3200
* socket 754

Memory Modules: Kingston DDR 400
* 3pcs 1G modules (equivalent to 3072 of RAM )

Video Card: ATI Radeon 9600 XT 256MB 128BIT DVI supported
* AGP slot

Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster 5.1

Hard Drive: Maxtor 7200RPM 80G
* 2 pcs

Monitor: Viewsonic LCD Monitor 19 inch
* 1280 x 1024 standard resolution ( nearly square )

Secondary Montor: Flatron LG 17 inch
* standard pc monitor

CD ROM: Sony CD-RW CRX 230EE

DVD ROM : Lite-On DVD SOHD - 167T

Floppy Disk Drive

Speakers: Altech Lansing & Creative

Webcam: A4 Tech 339

Pen Tablet: Graphire 3

.... well thats about all my computer parts..

im actually using 2 speakers at the same time. but you can go for the surround system if you like.

go tayan and epox or abit or dfi for motherboard and maybe asus other motherboards i dont know
for power supply you might get enermax it is top quality
for cpu i like amd then go for something over am2 4800+
for ram at least 1 gb but it is better if you buy 2 gb or even 4 gb for 64 bit and vista
for gfx card dont go expensive stuff it doesnt help rendering in most cases but a middle range card
