Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Max is slow with Quadro Hi I just bought a Dell precision M90 notebook. When running max 8 it felt a bit slower than I expected. So I compared it with one of my friend’s desktops. Even though my notebook has a better graphics card, my max starts lagging at 1 mill poly, when my friend’s desktop doesn’t. Both are on OpenGL, and I even changed the settings on my Quadro to fit 3ds max’s. But it still doesn’t work. Anyone know what’s going on, and how to fix it? M90 Windows XP Core 2 duo 2.33 GHz 2 Gigs of ram Nvidia Quadro FX 3500M Friends Desktop Windows XP Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz (I think or something) 2 Gigs of ram Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS Thx for your time |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hello, I am a computer maintenance teacher I also try 3D modeling Hear is your problem this is not all about your pc its all about XP. I have to show you a windows XP trick to perform much faster than your PC .What I am gone have to show you are not unsafe. The first step – click start button and run and type msconfig Second step – and you will see the system configuration click on the service and uncheck non Microsoft service. Third step – click the startup and uncheck you don’t need to start the program at the first booting presses and click ok and restart. If there any thing to do free to e-mail me hayderxnation@yahoo.com enjoy |
