Rep Power: 6 ![]() | oh i forgott :P 200 us hehe...lets see...i think somthing around 1000us :P here in norway it cost around 7000 norwegian money. divide it on 6 and you have the us. soooo.....i think you need to go for somthing cheaper then 8800 ultra then...but i think it's a good investment in gaming card.

| Member | For 200USD, I think the best in the market is 8600GT or maybe 8600GTS if you are willing to spend a bit more ;) You can check 7900 series since I believe that maybe the spec is higher than 8600 series (since its high-end card) and its cheaper too. Sometimes ATi graphic cards may be cheaper and have better performance, but I'm not sure which graphic card should I recommend you for ATi since I didn't 'check' ATi graphic cards :P Thanks :) |

| Member | If you can afford, I will certainly recommend you to buy this card (I know its very good for gaming :P) But make sure your power supply is 'strong' to support this card, I think you will need to have a power supply with over 600 watt in order to run this card at 'full capacity' (ask the salesman/anyone with good experience on computers to confirm). As I read on some reviews, XFX is quite a good manufacturer (their cards are overclocked when you buy it), so....I think there shouldn't be any problem. Thanks :) |

| Registered User | xfx 8800gts is a real good card..i have it and its just awesome...yes u need 650watts smps to run it efficiently....but for 3d purpose like rendering ...its maily dependent on the processor than video card...as far as i know....so if it is for gaming then it is the best card for now... |
