| Registered User | if you hace enough money for Intel core i7 it's the best option just look at some benchmarks and you'll see difference. btw for rendering with HT on, you have 8 threads (that means 8buckets running on your screen )but its not cheap soultion ![]()

| Supreme Digital Artist | I have asked professionals and they say: Intel with Ati Radeon makes the best combination for pictures and some modeling. But even better for us is Amd (possibly phenom, but the best would be phenom 2) Phenom 9000+ with nVidia 8000 series or 9000, it is even better for modeling and rendar... Thats what they said... |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | amd will always be better then intel, for the most part intel tryes to out do amd but come short because there chipsets are so expensive to produce in comparison to amd's cheaper and better chipsets of the same speed AMD forever! my rig; amd phenom II quad core 9950 3.8 ghz gigabyte ma770-us2 motherboard inno3d nvidia gtx250 512 gddr3 2 gig ddr 2 ram 2 500 gig western digital hard drives 1 terabyte external hhd windows 7 32 bit build 7600
