what all benifits that 3d and 2d designers will have :type:

ok well i will share what i know of SLI basicly it used 2 cards and doubles the performance and speed that they can work at giv/take. this is probably aimed at the gamer with too much cash to spend or who want bragging rights. this only works with PCI-E and needs special mo-board and uses more power (2 physical cards). im not too sure what the implications for 2d/3d designers but i imagin that any task which used the graphics card extencivly will be able to draw more processing power, much the same way that upgrading your graphics card would do.
