Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Geforce 9800GTX+ problem I recently got a brand new openbox EVGA 9800 GTX+, and I downloaded devil may cry 4 to test the performance. All the gameplay looks fine and I believe I set everything right, however in every CG, when an object or a person move really fast, there will be a weird transparent-glass lookalike thingy covering them. Will it be the videocard is bad? It ONLY happens when something move fast in the CG. I tried to google the problem but couldn't find any. Please help!! thx P.S. I have the directx9.0c and the latest evga drivers installed. |

I'm not certain, but i believe you need to update your DirectX. Your card is designed to work in tandom with the new DirectX 10. Patrick | |

| Supreme Digital Artist | Hmmmm... This problem is kinda odd. My friend had almost the same problems but with much older card. And this happened around 6 years ago. I don't know did he managed to fix it but he also had his system freeze from time to time. Anyway, back to the point. I will have to agree with Patrick here partially because if that's not it it might be broken. However it might be built in the game to blur surroundings to achieve motion blur or hit blur in some games. That might be it. If you describe the problem with more details, I'm sure that we can help you. I have some experience wit GC so please do tell me what transparent thing is on the screen, and is it bounded by a line? Also tell me if this happens to other games/programs, or even on your desktop or so? Cheers ;) ![]() |
