Tomcat

hi all

does any1 know where i get a tutorial for making a F14-Tomcat
or maybe some1 can make a tutorial

its nearly impossible to find tutorials on planes

try the tutorial which comes with max (help -> tutorials) on how to make a low poly jet fighter, then after having done this, use the same techniques to make the tomcat, (i hope you have reference pictures, or blueprints)

^^

I agree with solidshadow.........that's exactly what I did. I made the tut for the low poly fighter and learned the techniques. Then I got blueprints for my own project and applied the techniques to my own project. So far so good, except the tut does'nt go into much detail. You can see my progress, in the WIP forum and click First model (Progression thread) of V4-F, or just go directly to this link

Yeah, their tight, but everything is there. He will have to edit them in photoshop etc.

haha.. in that case your teacher will be pleased with anything. 3dsmax isn't quite what you call an easy program. Good luck with your project.
