Rendering

Not being big headed but i think im getting good at modeling but my rendering is so shite!! it lets the whole project down i need some tips on different render effects? if anyone one wants to post some then i would be very greatful............. such as............ car race track enviroments like light set up etc

i'm not a expert on that point but my ideea, is to serch for lighting tutorials, den begin messing around on your self, to see what difrences det diferent tools do, then you putt togheter what you need.

Have u tried VRay for 3ds max(64 bit)?
I've got it, but i don't have win 64 bit, now i'm downloading vista 64 bit, i think it'll be very gooooood!!!!
