Rep Power: 0 ![]() | removing chroma key from a picture hello all. Brand new to this forum. Hope I can get some help. looking for the best way to remove the green screen from the pic below using photoshop 7. I have tried different methods but all seem to yield similar results. They work pretty good but when put against a black background it doesn't look too good. Here's the pic I'm trying to work with. p.s., I know the pic doesn't have the best quality, but that's the point. If I find a method that can work on this picture, then it will work wonders with a welll taken picture. Thanks in advance. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Well one way you can do it is by using the "extract" function, another is to manually create a mask for the subject, and still a third would be to use a plugin to extract a color key. What you use will depend on the source image. In this case I see very little spill on the subject and no harsh shadows so it should be fairly easy! Hope this helps! Later. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Sure. You can use ultimatte for starters, but I don't think it's a cheap plugin. If you are going to be doing a lot of them then the extract function is probably going to be your best bet. Hope this helps. Later. |
