Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Ragdoll problem hi, i am using max 6, and i have a problem, just been playing with ragdoll, and i use how it says on the internet tutorial, looks fine in the direct X preview window, but then, i just works in viewports, but just stays on its axis, instead of moving around the room, how can i solve this problem, reply as soon as poss plz, thanks Corrosion |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I'm assuming you're using Reactor? There are included Reactor tutorials with Max. Max 6 has a built in ragdoll generation script that makes them pretty easy (asset browser >> scripts.) Anyway, sounds like your problem is that you're not giving the ragdoll weight. Select the whole thing, then click "Open Property Editor" which is the fourth button from the bottom on the default menu to the left. Give the properties a weight amount. Also note, if you don't create a rigid body with zero weight, a plane for instance, your ragdoll will fall into the oblivion. Anyway. Check out the tutorials that come with max, they're really all I've used and I'm getting better really fast. |
