Can Autodesk 3ds max 9 create videogames? I'm trying to create a videogame SIMILAR to The legend of Zelda: ocarina of time, or Majora's mask. Bear in mind, I'm not trying to create something completely like those games, but something like them, Just LIKE them. Can 3ds max 9 do that? I've tried to look it up in the program and even in wikipedia, but it's not giving me a solid answer. I know it can model, and animate, but I'm trying to create a game.

Can it do that? And if not, what can??

well....to create a game, ye must also knw game programming, which is done in eithr Java, Python or mainly in case ov hardcore games, in C++......the models, n animations r importd in a game engine, n heavy scriptin is done to compile dem all togethr.....dats wat makes a game

i read about a program called Torque. i guess it's a game engine you can use with your 3ds max. not sure but i'd check into it if i were you.
