| My WonderWall | How to spline modelling a car...??? here's my first ever spline modelling... it's a car. I've got some problem in handling the splines, i mean to get the exact smooth shape of the car. The red circle explained it. How do u get such smooth and flowy splines. Is there a method behind this?? It was supposed to be a peugot 607.... ( I hope that I wont turn to be a banana car.. ha ha) Anyway... I would really appreciate if u guys can give some comments on it. Cheers DAN :togo: Last edited by dan_ide2; 09-29-2003 at 01:11 PM.. |

| My WonderWall | Thank you for the advice Lucus. Well Is that so ... I might try to use Poly edit next. i realised that spline editting can be kinda tough but i also realised it takes time to practice and adapt the techniques. I am practising to use diferent techniques and finding which one suited me well for car modelling. For a start i am going for spline editting. Maybe after that i will try to learn poly edit. |

| Forum Moderator ![]() | in splines...its better if you 'on' the magnet/snap...you need to have patient and be very particular in spline.detail... Poly edit or Mesh edit is one of my prefered method...especially when you need to catch up on dateline. *good work dan_ide2:thumbsup: |
